The FireFly ESV is a strong, reliable vehicle for security and perimeter patrol applications. Our all-electric vehicle is specifically designed for flexibility and quiet, low speed operation. Security patrols occur in a wide array of environments including cities, office complexes, retail malls, prisons and educational institutions. The FireFly also offers many fundamental benefits to community policing and patrol activities of all types, creating positive relationships with both residents and businesses in the area.
With 100+ mile range and custom light and camera options, the FireFly is ready to go the distance, allowing security officers to patrol all day (and night time too) before returning to their fleet dispatch center for recharging, saving money on fuel spent idling when compared to a gasoline powered vehicle, and give the FireFly an edge over our competition:
- Agile and fast, providing rapid response and light pursuit at customizable electronically governed speeds exceeding 50 mph, while providing both comfort and security for the driver, with a 3-point safety harness and welded tubular steel safety cell.
- A 20+ degree approach angle and 6" curb clearance allows Firefly to quickly maneuver and traverse changes in road type, or curbs and sidewalks nimbly and with ease.
- A tight 122" turning radius means FireFly can make a U-turn on any 2-lane street and gives security officers the ability to maneuver between rows of parked vehicles. This is especially important while operating in parking garage decks.
- Ability to operate optional lighting features while idle for many hours allowing operators to direct traffic.
