Edwin Miller

Ed Miller serves as evTS’ Secretary and General Counsel. He has practiced corporate and securities law for over 40 years, most recently with Sullivan and Worcester since 2004. Prior to that he was the first associate and a partner for over 20 years at Boston’s Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault. Throughout his time in practice, Ed has represented venture capital firms and technology companies in venture financings, with extensive mergers and acquisitions experience, working on behalf of acquirers as well as sellers, and has represented both issuers and underwriters in scores of IPOs, secondary stock offerings and other public market transactions that have raised billions of dollars. More recently, he has concentrated on the representation of emerging technology companies, having advised on more than 100 issuer and underwriter-side IPOs and other public financings. Mr. Miller is the author of two books: Mergers & Acquisitions: A Step-by-Step Legal and Practical Guide (2nd edition) (Wiley), and Lifecycle of a Technology Company: A Step-by-Step Legal and Practical Guide from Startup to Sale (Wiley). Ed received his J.D. at Harvard Law School and has practiced before the Massachusetts bar since 1973.
